Request Chat Window

   

Logo Image
The logo can be customized using your own logo (showed on the side as the yellow bubble above). See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Chat Layout. [ TOP ]
Chat Request Text
This is the greeting message when you initiate a Proactive Chat with a visitor. This message can be customize.

Chat Button
A visitor clicks on the Chat Button to accept a chat request. The status of the visitor in the visitor's list will be changed to Requesting pending for the operator to accept the chat.

The Chat Button can be customized using your own button. See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Chat Layout. [ TOP ]
Close Button
A visitor clicks on the Close Button to decline the chat request invoked by the operator.

The Close Button can be customized using your own button. See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Chat Layout. [ TOP ]

Pre-Chat Window (Optional)

   

This pre-chat window is good for acquiring basic information from the visitor before a chat session begin.

By default, this pre-chat window is disabled. See
Administration -> Layout Customization -> Pre-Chat section for how to enable/disable it.

Banner Image
You can put your own banner image in the Pre-Chat Window. By default, the Banner Image is blank.

To add or change the Banner Image, see Administration -> Layout Customization -> Pre-Chat. [ TOP ]
Name / Pre-Chat Question Messages
You can customize those Name and Question messages to your own preference.

To change those messages, see Administration -> Layout Customization -> Pre-Chat. [ TOP ]
Chat Button

Main Chat Window

   

Banner Image
You can put your own banner image in the Main Visitor Chat Window. By default, the Banner Image is blank.

Quick Menu Function(s)
Obtain a Print Friendly version of the chat transcript by clicking on the "printer" icon on the quick menu within the chat window. [ TOP ]
Email a copy of the chat transcript by clicking on the "email" icon on the quick menu within the chat window. [ TOP ]
Enable / Disable sound notification on new message receive. [ TOP ]
Main chat window
The main chat window is what the visitor sees when a chat session is started. The visitor is greeted with the Waiting Text Message while the system is connecting. Once the connection is established, the Connected Text Message is displayed. Finally, the Disconnected Text Message is displayed when the chat session is ended by either party.

The Waiting Text, Connected Text and Disconnected Text can be modified to your own personal greeting text or language. See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Messages for how to change your personal greeting text.

You can also customize the font colour on the Visitor Chat Window. See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Chat Layout. [ TOP ]
Send Button
A visitor types a message in the Input Textbox at the bottom of the Chat Window and click the Send Button to send the message.

The Send Button can be customized using your own button. See Administration -> Layout Customization -> Chat Layout. [ TOP ]
