Getting started with Click Chat Sold(CCS) Operator [Ver 5.9.x]


Our software is an easy-to-use and fast-to-install customer management product that adds a human touch to your web site by facilitating real-time online customer interaction. It allows your staff to monitor the activities of each individual Web site visitor while they are actually browsing through your site.

First Timers,

To install and setup CCS is easy! Download the most recent version of the CCS Operator if you have not already done so by going to http://www.clickchatsold.com/download.html. You will need a copy of this application installed for each computer that you want to use the CCS Operator with.

Run (by double-click on it) the ccsop-<versionnumber>-setup.exe to install the CCS Operator. After install, click on the CCS Operator icon to get started. Log in to the CCS Operator using the Account Information given to you in the confirmation / welcome email.

Once logged in, you will see the First Time Setup Instruction screen. If you do not wish to see this screen in the future, check the 'Never show this window again' checkbox. These steps are only required for Administrators. Normal operators do not need to perform these steps.

Administrators,

Go to Admin -> Get HTML Code. The CCS HTML Code Generator page will be displayed in your browser window. Simply follow the instructions on the page to setup CCS on your website.

Set up additional operator accounts. You can add up to a total of 6 operators for each account. See Administration - Operators Mgt for more information. Additional operators can log in using the operator ID password with the same Account Name.

Customize CCS according to your preference. See Administration - Layout Customization for more information.
